Consumer Rankings Gets Social

With over 130,000 monthly visitors, Consumer-Rankings.com has helped countless consumers make smart buying decisions with its in-depth product research and customer reviews. While this website prides itself on providing top-quality product analysis and rankings, the staff at Consumer-Rankings.com has long been aware that there is more we can be doing to enrich and engage our loyal visitors. Website publishers are no longer limited to providing valuable content if they wish to build a community around their online brands. Now, social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, allow online brands to communicate, engage and listen to their fans in a mainstream, public forum. The ability to directly communicate with the people we aim to serve should allow us to better select topics that we write about in our blog and products that we review and compare on our website. We expect it to also help guide us when it comes to determining which product features are most important to consumers that want to buy a specific product and therefore provide even better product rankings.

That’s why we’re excited to announce our launching of our new Consumer Rankings Twitter account. Yes, we realize that we may be a bit behind the curve on this one, but for us, anything worth doing is worth doing well. Before recently, we simply did not have the manpower to maintain a Twitter account where we regularly communicate with our visitors. Rather than creating an account and having it lay dormant, we decided to put it off until we were able to properly manage it. We’d like to use this account for keeping our followers updated on new reviews, articles and blogs posts as well as for keeping in touch with them to hear their suggestions and feedback.
